Cole Hammer is an American amateur golfer who was born on December 28, 1999, in Houston, Texas. He began playing golf at a young age and quickly became one of the top junior golfers in the country.
Hammer gained national attention when he became the third-youngest player to compete in the U.S. Open in 2015 at the age of 15. He has continued to have success in amateur tournaments, including winning the Western Amateur Championship in 2018 and earning a spot on the U.S. Walker Cup team in 2019.
In addition to his success on the golf course, Hammer is also a standout student-athlete. He committed to play college golf at the University of Texas and has been named to the Big 12 All-Academic Team.
Hammer is considered one of the top amateur golfers in the world and is often mentioned as a future star on the PGA Tour.
